Si devono raccogliere queste piccole piante (stipa pennata, bàutse in limonese) senza tagliarle ma solo tirandole e facendo un bel mazzetto. Si avvolge bene la base del mazzetto con un filo d'erba, di modo che la parte alta si apra. Si tira in aria (anche per qualche metro) il mazzetto così preparato e se cade su una superficie piana rimane in piedi, bello diritto.

You need to gather these small plants (stipa pennata, bàutse in Limonese) without cutting them, only by pulling them up and making a nice small bunch. Wrap the base of the bunch tightly with a blade of grass so that the upper part opens up. Throw the prepared bunch into the air (even a few meters high), and if it lands on a flat surface, it will stand up straight.

Il faut ramasser ces petites plantes (stipa pennata, appelées bàutse en limonese) sans les couper, mais simplement en les tirant pour en faire un joli bouquet. On enroule soigneusement la base du bouquet avec un brin d'herbe, de manière à ce que la partie haute s'épanouisse. On lance ainsi le bouquet en l'air (parfois à plusieurs mètres de hauteur) : s'il retombe sur une surface plane, il reste debout, bien droit.
